Health Data in Motion – Real-Time Interoperability for Smarter Healthcare
26 May 2025 | 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM (EEST)
Health and Welfare Information Systems Centre (TEHIK), Pärnu maantee 132, 11317 Tallinn, Harju County

The future of health data is real-time, secure, and standardized – but how do we get there?
On 26 May 2025, the Health Data in Motion conference will bring together key figures from Estonia’s health sector, developers, researchers, and innovation partners in Tallinn and online to discuss how standards like FHIR, openEHR, and OMOP are shaping the movement and use of health data.
Throughout the day, we will focus on how real-time data exchange, data reuse, and interoperability can support smarter, more effective healthcare.
We are honored to welcome Grahame Grieve, the creator of the FHIR standard, as our keynote speaker, whose experience and vision will help open up new possibilities for the future of health data.
In addition, we’ll hear from leading voices in Estonia’s e-health, research, and startup sectors, sharing both strategic insights and practical experiences in building and scaling solutions.
The conference welcomes everyone who plays a role in advancing the use of health data – developers, system architects, healthcare providers, policymakers, researchers, and health tech entrepreneurs.
